The project “Support to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for the reinforcement of the pedagogical skills of the teachers-researchers and the governance capacities of the managers” aims to reinforce the capacities of the Ministry of Higher Education by diversifying the training offers, adapting the pedagogical methods to the competence approach and improving the governance of the institutions.

The project of Jumelage provides significant organisational and methodological support to enable the Ministry to fully assume its role, to steer the reform and to contribute to the success of the new vision for Education, Training and Research, by methodically moving towards the European recommendations for higher education as set out in the Bologna process and the European Higher Education Area.
The action of Jumelage is based on three components: pedagogical methodology, teacher training and university system governance.

A team of experts with a solid experience in the implementation of the Bologna Process is mobilised for all the measures concerned: the three-cycle system (Bachelor/Master/Doctorate – LMD), the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS), the diversification of the training offer, pedagogical innovation, e-learning, and the recognition of diplomas are the pillars of the LMD.

They work together with their expertise in the field of education and innovation to analyse and help provide the Ministry with techniques, methods and tools for the implementation and piloting of the reform of higher education and dissemination to the entire Algerian higher education sector abroad.
